Business Development Executive

Location: Riyadh, Saudi Arabia

Purpose of the Job

To achieve substantial financial growth of net new and existing customers by developing relationships and interest in Aramex solutions based on customer requirements

Job Responsibilities  

  • Generate and Nurture leads in co-ordination with vertical marketing and field marketing activities that will help generate targeted new revenue growth
  • Nurture leads and creates opportunities within the portfolio of assigned geographies through a value-based approach.
  • Manage and grow existing businesses to generate targeted and sustainable revenue (additional regions, additional products).
  • Understand and analyze the big picture of customer’s business objectives in order to build the profile & act as a consultant for customer’s business strategy
  • Translates customer strategy into meaningful opportunities of value for Aramex
  • Present solutions to customers, demonstrating value for business and goal alignment
  • Identify & develop effective relationships with key contacts within targeted customer organizations in respective regions, to ensure maximum leverage for Aramex
  • Work closely with the solutions group to define innovative solutions that provide value to customer’s business operations.
  • Collaborate with account managers to create a seamless customer experience
  • Perform all aspects of the sales process and input & update all customer information utilizing CRM
  • Network with industry peer groups & other internal affiliates to roll out best-proven practices, as relevant
  • Engages in research for the purpose of expanding personal and company knowledge of industry trends, best practices, marketing and sales

Job Requirements (Experience and education)

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or any other field
  • Min. 5 years of relevant working experience preferably in the Freight Forwarding and Logistics industry
  • Fluent in English. Additional language a plus.

IT Manager (Saudi Nationals Preferred)

Purpose of the Job

Manage and coordinate IT team in the station, and provide final level of support for the local requirement

 

Job Responsibilities 

  • Ensure business continuity by maintaining IT systems availability.
  • Understanding customer’s business needs.
  • Evaluating user needs and system functionality and ensuring that IT facilities meet these needs.
  • Manage relationships with corporate clients providing all necessary consultancy for up-to-date technologies and methods to assure their online business sustainability and growth.
  • Respond/act on upper-management direction.
  • Identify and provide standards for gathering information for use in trend analysis and report information to company management.
  • Keep IT users (business units) well informed about any IT-related changes and their impacts.
  • Reporting any information that might impact company image and brand
  • Manage relationships with local IT suppliers in coordination with the local procurement team.
  • Help team members and colleges understanding the system workflow.
  • Setting objectives and KPI’s for direct reports and conduct an annual performance review

  • Obtaining competitive prices from suppliers, to ensure reducing cost
  • Managing, negotiating and monitoring communication costs.
  • Purchase Order approvals and need assessment.

Job Requirements (Experience and education)

  • Degree in IT or a field with technical focus
  • Minimum 5 to 7 years’ experience in a senior IT Infrastructure function
  • MCSE, CCNA, PMP certifications would be an advantage
  • Excellent command in English language
  • Hands-on experience running mission-critical IT operations.
  • Able to critically think to solve complex problems with no established precedence while balancing risk, speed, accuracy, and embracing pace over perfection.
  • Exhibit excellent analytical skills and the ability to manage multiple projects under strict timelines as well as the ability to work well in a demanding, dynamic environment and meet overall objectives.
  • Strong communication skills and presence with the ability to speak with impact, influence outcomes; simplify complex topics into actionable recommendations for decision-making.
  • Ability to respond rapidly to changing technology and apply leading-edge technology to business needs.
  • Ability to plan and direct technology efforts to improve operational efficiency, service delivery, and information management across all lines of business and technology platforms.
  • Strong client service orientation and awareness to collaborate across the organization to drive key critical decisions and resolve complex problems.
